Fight the odds this sick season with this nutrient and vitamin packed green smoothie!
It seems like everyone is getting sick even more than usual for the season this year. It's been brutal! Hopefully this lean, mean, green smoothie packed with immunity empowering antioxidants, nutrients, and vitamins helps you fight the odds.
This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh from the blender. However, you can totally store it in the refrigerator to sip throughout the day, or finish it chilled the following day. If you're storing it for later on, or to enjoy gradually, my only suggestion is to cover it with aluminum foil or cling wrap so it remains as fresh as possible.

Yield: 1 Smoothie
Ingredients
½ banana
1 cube pineapple
1 cup raw spinach
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (more for additional sweetness)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup coconut water
Directions
Add all ingredients to a blender (in the order listed above). Blend until smooth and combined. Serve immediately.
